Norma Adriana Bleecker Trujillo, JD and her family have resided in Anaheim for five generations. An Anaheim High graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loyola Marymount University. Norma’s passion for Folklorico started at LMU in 1973, under the direction of Maestros Emilio Pulido and Pam Harding. She graduated from UCLA Law School in 1979. Norma has over 40 years of professional workers’ compensation claims experience. She is celebrating nineteen years at the Disneyland Resort as Manager in Worker’s Compensation. She also serves diversity and inclusion efforts as co-chair of the Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement (HOLA). She has served the Board of Directors of RDC since 1994 and is immediate past President. Norma resumed folklorico classes, fourteen years ago when her daughter, Adriana Trujillo, left the group after thirteen years. Her continued commitment to the organization and students is inspired by the impact the discipline had on Adriana’s academic success. She has earned a Bachelor and Master Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and is a doctoral candidate as a research scientist with a focus on heart muscle defects.
